Hey- I’m Hunter Cook- although most people call me Hunter Fitness.

I’ve been training clients for over a decade in the Long Beach, CA area and for the last 3-4 years, have switched to a business that focuses on mobility training. My background that led me here includes having a B.S. in Kinesiology, with a focus on Exercise Science. I also spent 6 years working in Physical Therapy offices to gain experience working with a post-rehabilitation clientele.

I now teach both the FRC Mobility Specialist Certification and Kinstretch Instructor Certification around the world to bring the knowledge and science that developed these systems to more personal trainers, coaches, and physical therapists. We want to bring to the masses a system that helps trainers and coaches make decisions based off of assessment, and not tradition.

I want to make critical thinking cool again. I want more people to question “why are we doing things this way?” I want trainers to learn to assess their clientele and give them the exercises the client needs, and not the ones the trainer “likes.” I want to teach people that there IS a difference between mobilizing tissue and actual Mobility Training.

I also want people to know that I am Officially House Stark, that Star Wars is better than Star Trek, and black and white cookies from delis on Long Island, NY are the best cookies in the world.
